Seeing as this is my very first post I suppose I should explain the title of my post.  Serenity Now was inspired by my four boys.  A little over a year ago our family increased in size from one to four through adoption.  Our family doubled in size overnight and it was incredible and scary and overwhelming.  Over the past year and two months I could probably write a book on all of the things that the boys have said and done that had me saying "Serenity Now"!  They have had me crying, laughing, and shaking my head in confusion.  It has taken the boys a while to adjust to our family and to living with rules.  So although I try to seek quiet moments for myself in the midst of all the many things I do as a mom... Serenity Now is also about helping my children find peace and serenity as they heal from their past and start a new future.
