Learn my Lesson? Never.
You would think at the ripe old age of 42 I would know by now to keep my mouth shut. But as you get older your mouth opens more and more and your thoughts spill out before you stop and think. Sort of an adult ADHD if you will. I used to be a lot quieter and reserved. Honest. Ask my sisters. On second thought... don't talk to my sisters or they might tell you too much about me that I don't want coming to light. But I was complaining the other day about having seven doctors appointments during the month of June to ferry myself and the boys to for various reasons - medication check-ups, dentist, physical for scout camp etc. etc. Then add to that the appointments for the dryer repairman and other repair people coming over to fix the basement. Never, never, never complain about how many appointments you have because you can ALWAYS have more added. And so it was when I went to the doctor this morning and was informed that I would be doing an ultrasound on Monday to check my gallbladder. Medical appointment #8. Serves me right. I can only hope that I can keep eating my favorite... McDonald's fries. Oh please, oh please, oh please!!!!!
