Kid's Day

On Saturday we went over to my father-in-law's to celebrate Father's Day and while the husbands helped get to all the high places on the house to change out lights and kill the hornets, the kids played with each other and waited for the ponies to arrive. What? Ponies??? Yep. My mother-in-law explained it this way. She figured that the day before Mother's Day and the day before Father's day should be designated as Kid's Day. Hence, the ponies. The kids had a blast riding the ponies and even the older kids whose feet almost touched the ground couldn't wait for their turn. (Frankly the husbands asked if there was a weight limit but fortunately the ponies were spared being ridden by any adults.) I can safely say that even without the ponies my kids had a wonderful time at grandma's jumping on the trampoline, playing in the playroom, eating pizza and having sno cones.
