In true Valentine's Day tradition we are doorbell ditched every year on this day of love. The Valentine's Bunny rings our doorbell and magically disappears. Along with a gift from the Valentine's Bunny are prizes from Grandma and Grandpa. My husband and his brothers eventually figured out the identity of the Valentine's Bunny but my kids have yet to figure it out.
It was tough getting the boys to wait for their youngest brother to finish his dinner in order for them to open their bags from Grandma and Grandpa. They tore into their bags with gusto.
When the Valentine Bunny struck tonight the debate went on for a few minutes over how he/she could disappear so quickly after doorbell ditching us. It coalesced with arguments over how Santa has magic and can appear and disappear so it stands to reason that the Valentine Bunny could also have the same powers as Santa.
As my kids wonder about the identity of the Valentine Bunny I'm left to wonder... after a day full of party prep and follow-through not to mention studying for school, does the Valentine Bunny clean kitchens and do laundry? I wouldn't mind a little help right about now. :)
