Danger! Thin Ice.

I took this photo this last week and it made me think... there are always those who follow the rules, those who skirt the edge and those who just plain ignore the warning sign and break the rules.

I am one who actually ASKS what the rules are. I don't wait to find out. Give me the parameters of each situation so I know what is expected of me. And yet, I am a Taurus so be careful not to tell me what to do. I want the rules but I don't like being told that I HAVE to do it. I'll choose it on my own thanks very much. :)

So which one are you? The rule follower, skirter or breaker?

Robin's Rules

An old friend of mine called into question why the name robinsrules in my html (actually he called me a geek). I suppose I should explain. He read it as Robin rules versus Robin's rules and I merely omitted the apostrophe when creating the html. There are certain rules that make me happy like ...

1. keep my husband close by because he makes me laugh even when I don't feel like it, ( and if he can't - call my sisters)

2. pay attention to nature because it helps me be peaceful,

3. always remember to pray and be grateful because then I'm nicer to my kids (and they'll thank me for it!)

4. take lots of pictures of my boys because when I look at their pictures I more easily forgive them when they break the t.v., take pizza from the fridge in the middle of the night, punch or bite each other, or hide chocolate bars and other candy under the couches to eat later - true stories - Serenity now.
