Beat out by God

One of our favorite games to play as a family is Apples to Apples. Yesterday Wannabe chose Sour Apples to Apples as our Family Home Evening activity. Unfortunately, round 3 of the stomach flu has hit our house so he couldn't touch the cards. (I didn't think that was possible yet here we are.)



Sheriff held Wannabe's cards up for him so he could participate.

As usual family members did their best to convince others of the virtues of their words in order to get them picked.



When the word successful came up I knew that my card was going to get picked.



I mean really... what could be more successful than Getting the High Score? Especially when Brett was saying things to Giggles (the judge of that round) like "now think of the best, number one, no one is better than this person." I'm wondering if Brett peeked at my card at this point and is trying to help me win!

Then the cards are read out and Giggles makes his pick.



I can't beat God.
