It's Done

It is official and the sign is on our lawn. The house is now up for sale. Of course getting to this day has been very difficult with all the painting and packing and cleaning in order to make the house presentable (don't look in my storage room or garage as those don't count!!!)

My house has never been cleaner or more de-cluttered.

DON'T ANYONE MOVE!!!! (that would make footprints on the floors) NO PLAYING, NO EATING, NO CHANGING CLOTHES OR SHOWERING, (that would create laundry), NO TOUCHING WALLS OR WINDOWS (fingerprints). Frankly, I'm exhausted and not a single showing has occurred yet.

I know we need to get over to the other house so that this one will be empty and will show well for potential buyers.... but I don't want to leave. I don't want to say goodbye to my friends. Can't I just take everyone with me???? I have 10 years invested in this neighborhood and it is hard to let go.

Maybe I'll take the sign out of the yard and keep this as my summer home.

I can't wait! I don't know if I will have time to pack so I'll just wear the same clothes for 3 days. but you love me anyways so it won't matter right? right???

The house looks great. I think that you can keep it open and we can have a quilting house just for us. I think that sounds great. Hope that your new neighborhood will be great. I will miss ya. I hope that you had a great birthday sorry I didn't call.

We are all going to miss you guys. If you figure out a way to keep your kids from making messes let me know.

you need to quit looking at old pictures - just have a "welcome me to my new house" party and take some NEW pictures - that sounds happier!

the house looks great - and you just put your sign up YESTERDAY - the people will come (in a year or so - there is a reason I am letting bill keep that tire out front and have Christmas lights dangling from my roof - plus, I put a jinx on yours!)

xoxo

You are a twit! I can't believe I even smiled for the picture! When I told Canyon you were moving the look on his face described my feelings! SAD!!!!!

I know I should stop looking at old pictures because they just make me cry... but also laugh like when friends put on Batman masks ... notice I don't have a picture of MYSELF with a Batman mask on??? And Alicia.. why am I a twit? no one can tell it is you. oops.

Dede, I'll send Brett over to deal with the tire and the lights and have Melissa put a sign on your lawn so you can buy the house next door to us. We'll be neighbors again! I'm soooooo excited!!!!

Sara, the best way to stop kids from making messes is to send them to someone else's house.... forever.

Hold on while I grab a tissue. . . I already told you about Kate when when I explained to her that Jaden would also have a new school along with his new house. Reality had sunk in and it was sad. But it hadn't for me until now, now that the driveway across the street sits empty. So, I hope you're happy! (LOL) I also hope that the buyers of your old house know the sale is contingent upon mine and Dede's approval!

We hope that awesome people buy the house because you deserve great neighbors. We have loved having you as neighbors. It has made being in this neighborhood so great!
